What kind of dog is that?

Have you wondered about the silly looking dog in the picture?  Yes, this is one of our sweet pets, Huayra.  She is a Peruvian Inca Orchid (Hairless Dog of Peru).  Funny, goofy and such a joy to our family.  Loves to run, hunt, snuggle and hog the couch.

I saw an article posted on facebook about kids and pets.  It talks about how children who grow up with pets are less likely to have allergies.  We have a houseful of critters.  No allergies in our house?
